Our Model

Changing the Narrative on Healthcare

At Dapper Dermatology, we empower patients to take control of their health.

As a direct patient care platform, we cut out the insurance middle men. We partner directly with the patient to eliminate surprise fees, copays, and bills. This creates greater access to your physician, longer appointment times, and innovative options not seen in the insurance model.

We prioritize personalized care and education. We recognize that preventing complications and being proactive leads to better health outcomes and higher quality of life.

Our goal is to make healthcare more affordable, accessible, and understandable for everyone.

Our Commitments

  • Expert Care

You will always be evaluated and treated by a board-certified dermatologist, the experts in skin, hair, and nail health.

  • Expanded Access

Our model encourages transparency and has removed the artificial ‘networks’ that place barriers between physicians and patients.

  • Transparency

Healthcare costs shouldn’t be a surprise. We work with you to diagnose and provide treatment options at any budget.

  • Effective Dermatology

We deliver the best to our patients by eliminating skincare misinformation. We work directly with pharmacies to get medications at fair prices.

Direct Patient Care

In our direct care model, we prioritize the patient-physician relationship and prioritizing evidence-based medicine over insurance barriers and bureacracy.

Direct patient care means we are out of network with all insurances, leading to reduced costs, no copays, and improved access to care. Patients never need a referral to be seen. Unlike concierge practices, there are no membership fees.

Many patients are facing rising healthcare costs with increasing deductibles and decreasing coverage for certain services. Just as you wouldn't use car insurance for routine maintenance, like gas or oil changes, medical insurance is primarily used to cover major expenses, not routine out-patient care. The direct patient care model helps control costs, fosters price transparency, and empowers patients to manage their healthcare more effectively.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to a good faith estimate to explain your expected medical care costs, including non-emergency items and services, if you don’t have insurance or choose not to use it.

This estimate should cover all related expenses, such as tests, drugs, equipment, and hospital fees, and must be provided in writing at least one business day before the scheduled service.

If the final bill exceeds the estimate by $400 or more, patients can dispute it. It's important to keep a copy of the estimate for reference.
