What Are Chemical Peels?

Chemical peels are a broad category of solutions that can be used to resurface the skin. There are dozens of peeling agents including salicylic acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid, mandalic acid, and more.

What Can Chemical Peels Do?

Chemical peels cause a targeted inury to the skin resulting in resurfacing and collagen stimulation. Chemical peels can be used to improve dark spots, texture, pore size, acne, melasma, and more. Chemical peels are incredibly customizable to each individual patient.

  • In the first 48 hours, swelling and redness are common. Following, the skin will become a darker tone and feel tight. Lastly, the peeling process will begin with the exact duration being longer depending on the peel's depth.
